Teenagers Hate Internet Filter? Why?

Parents and concerned organizations are putting their best efforts to protect kids online but whenever I look at my social networking page… I see lots of comments on how kids and teenagers hate the parental control software installed in their computer, and they are sharing ideas on how to get into the sites prohibited by the software. I think this is another problem we have to deal with. Parents are trying to protect them from harm but I don’t think few of them doesn’t want to get protected or doesn’t appreciate that most of their parents are putting their best efforts to prevent them from harm and they are also spending money just to make sure they are safe.

For parents having the same problem, you might want your kids and teenagers to view KidSafe site. This site is dedicating some portion of their space in posting cases of cyberbullies and online predators to make them aware of what happened to other kids and teenagers who suffered from the hands of these kind of people that we are trying to protect them from.

There are also parental control browsers out there who also focus on how they can make it fun for children to have it in their computers like providing a site where they can play their favorite games without the fear them stumbling upon online predators and getting viruses.
