Teenagers Hate Internet Filter? Why?

Parents and concerned organizations are putting their best efforts to protect kids online but whenever I look at my social networking page… I see lots of comments on how kids and teenagers hate the parental control software installed in their computer, and they are sharing ideas on how to get into the sites prohibited by the software. I think this is another problem we have to deal with. Parents are trying to protect them from harm but I don’t think few of them doesn’t want to get protected or doesn’t appreciate that most of their parents are putting their best efforts to prevent them from harm and they are also spending money just to make sure they are safe.

For parents having the same problem, you might want your kids and teenagers to view KidSafe site. This site is dedicating some portion of their space in posting cases of cyberbullies and online predators to make them aware of what happened to other kids and teenagers who suffered from the hands of these kind of people that we are trying to protect them from.

There are also parental control browsers out there who also focus on how they can make it fun for children to have it in their computers like providing a site where they can play their favorite games without the fear them stumbling upon online predators and getting viruses.

How to Get Rid of Cyberbullies

Internet is a very helpful device that can assist us in many different ways, almost anything we need to know is just a click away,  if we want to cook something special, there are lots of recipes and cooking guide sites out there. If we want to pay our bills without the hassle of going to the bank, there’s online banking. For kids there are  countless resources that can aid them with their homeworks and school projects.

We can never ignore how the internet made our lives easier, but we are also aware that the internet is not a safe place for kids because there are lots of predators out there, just waiting for an innocent victim, and as parents we’ll do everything that we can to protect our children from online predators and cyberbullies who deliberately and repeatedly tormenting,  harrassing or embarrasing others through the use of the internet or any electronic medium.

Being bullied strips people’s self-confidence, that’s why we must act now before someone tear our kids’ world apart. We must do something right NOW! to keep our children safe and happy.  One of the things that we can do is get a KidSafe browser that can help us put boundaries to what our children can navigate and  view.

With a browser filtering web content, we can be complacent to leave them and let them explore the internet without the fear of them fall in the hands of online predators.
